ORMAZD
Where Ancient Wisdom Becomes Monumental Art
The Eternal Light of Persian Mythology
ORMAZD is a monumental, interactive sculpture inspired by Persian mythology and Zoroastrian philosophy. Featuring a serene, sculpted concrete face, intricate Ghalamzani metal engraving, Persian architectural patterns, and a luminous crown, the artwork blends ancient craftsmanship with contemporary engineering. Its expansive Faravahar-inspired wings transform into communal seating, inviting visitors to gather, reflect, and connect. Embodying the timeless principles of Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds, ORMAZD creates a shared space for peace, wisdom, and human connection.
A Journey into Persian Heritage
The rear of ORMAZD reveals another dimension of the sculpture, blending intricate Persian architectural patterns with traditional craftsmanship and interactive storytelling. Inspired by Shahre Farang, a historic Persian form of visual entertainment, the interactive viewing windows invite visitors to explore imagery and stories from Iran’s rich cultural heritage. Framed by expansive Faravahar-inspired wings, the design transforms the sculpture into a space for discovery, connection, and the preservation of ancient wisdom.
